Religare's material subsidiary Care Health Insurance received an income tax rectification order reducing its net tax liability by 49% from ₹89.02 crore to ₹45.16 crore for AY 2023-24.
The rectification order dated April 28, 2026, corrected a technical error in computation following CHIL's application filed after the initial demand.
CHIL has already filed an appeal against the original assessment order additions, which remains pending for adjudication alongside this rectification.
