Supreme Court heard Roadway Solutions India Infra Ltd.'s petition against NHAI over arbitration misconduct by Mr. Ameet Gadhoke.
Court deemed Gadhoke's email casting aspersions on arbitrator Justice L. Nageswara Rao serious and ordered a Rs 5 lakh deposit to the National Defence Fund.
Former Chief Justice R.M. Lodha was appointed as the new presiding arbitrator and parties were directed to engage him promptly.
Costs were imposed on Gadhoke; all applications disposed and compliance to be reported by 15 May 2026.
