Ruchi Infrastructure Limited has filed a regulatory disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company filed Special Leave Petitions (SLPs) before the Supreme Court of India on November 3, 2026.
The SLPs challenge the determination of compensation for a 4.71-acre land parcel owned by the company. This land is situated at Village Byaora, Tehsil & District Hoshangabad and was acquired by the M.P. State Agriculture Marketing Board, Bhopal under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 during the financial year 2009-10.
The petitions specifically challenge two common final judgments and orders dated August 10, 2026, from the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur:
- First Appeal No. 427 of 2016 (decided with First Appeal No. 419 of 2016 and connected matters)
- First Appeal No. 564 of 2016 (decided with First Appeal No. 419 of 2016 and connected matters)
The company has received partial compensation payments (including interest) in piecemeal installments since the acquisition but awaits the balance amount. The disclosure states that irrespective of the SLP outcome, the company is yet to receive the balance compensation (including interest).
Regarding financial implications, the annexure states:
- Expected financial implications: Not applicable
- Quantum of claims: Cannot be quantified, however, will exceed ₹1 crore
The disclosure notes that if the SLPs are decided in the company's favor, the additional compensation claimed (over and above the amount determined by the High Court orders) would exceed the materiality threshold applicable to the company under Regulation 30(4)(i)(c) of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
The document was signed by Ashish Mehta, Company Secretary, from the registered office at 706, Tulsiani Chambers, Nariman Point, Mumbai – 400021, Maharashtra.
