Sai Charitable Society Appeal Allowed by Supreme Court

Supreme Court granted special leave and allowed the appeal filed by Sai Charitable Society against the Government of NCT of Delhi.
The Court set aside the Delhi High Court order that dismissed the Regular First Appeal for a 7‑month filing delay.
It condoned part of the delay, directed the High Court to decide the appeal on merits, and barred interest on the claim.
The underlying suit seeks recovery of Rs.13,87,631, but interest will not be awarded due to the filing delay.
