Parties: Stressed Assets Stabilization Fund (appellant) vs. B.S. Krishnan & Anr. (respondent).
Civil Appeal No.5729/2021 and related Civil Appeal No.4782/2021 were listed for hearing on the above date.
The appellant sought additional time to file an application because of a change in its name to Stressed Assets Stabilization Fund.

1. The Court allowed IA No.151482/2026, granting the appellant time to file the required application reflecting the name change.

2. The Court directed that the necessary correction of the party’s name be effected in the records.

3. Both matters (Civil Appeal No.5729/2021 and Civil Appeal No.4782/2021) are to be listed for hearing on 06.08.2026.

4. The parties are at liberty to make a mention during the hearing.

The appellant receives permission to file the application with the corrected name, and the cases are scheduled for further hearing on 6 August 2026, with liberty to make submissions.
