The Supreme Court dismissed Ritu Rajkumari's writ petition, directing the SCAORA Election Committee to permit eligible AORs to vote.
Out of 161 newly qualified AORs, 112 were found eligible and will be allowed to cast votes.
Remaining AORs were given a deadline of 19 May 2026, 5 pm to submit eligibility forms for possible voting rights.
Petition stands disposed; any pending applications will be closed.
