The Supreme Court heard several civil appeals (CAs 8049/2023, 7395/2024, 7984/2024, etc.) involving DLF Home Developers and multiple petitioners.
The Court directed the CBI to conduct a preliminary enquiry, appointing DSP Dinesh Kumar as Investigating Officer under SP Saurabh Gupta.
The enquiry report must be sealed and filed by 17 July 2026, and DLF must continue timely payments to home buyers.
The Court warned against any pressure on the appointed officers, guaranteeing confidentiality and stating that interference will attract serious consequences.
