Supreme Court heard a miscellaneous application by Mrigendra Singh Geherwar seeking restoration of SLP against New India Assurance Company Ltd.
The petition faced a 273‑day delay in filing the restoration application, for which condonation was sought.
Justice Satish Chandra Sharma condoned the delay, allowing IA Nos. 326595/2025 and 326594/2025 and restoring the SLP.
The order, digitally signed on 21 May 2026, directs the SLP to be listed after four weeks.
