Supreme Court granted special leave and set aside High Court's order imposing Rs 5 lakh per appeal (total Rs 20 lakh) on SEBI.
The appeals arise from SEBI's action against Sai Prasad Group for alleged investment scheme, with interim order 2013 and refund order 2015.
Supreme Court directed SEBI to file amended memoranda within two weeks, removing the imposed cost penalty.
The Court also instructed the Bombay High Court to dispose of the appeals within three months, with next hearing on 15 June 2026.
