Nature of Query and Company's Clarification
The exchange raised three primary observations, to which the company provided a point-wise response:
1. Observation on Segment Details:
The NSE observed that segment details were not submitted. The company clarified that it has undertaken a demerger of its Trading Business and Manufacturing Business. Post this demerger, the company now operates in a single business segment. Consequently, the requirements for segment reporting under applicable accounting standards are no longer applicable, justifying the omission of separate segment details.
2. Observation on Machine Readable Form:
The NSE noted that a machine-readable or legible copy of the Financial Results was not submitted. The company acknowledged that while the Audit Report was submitted in a machine-readable format, an inadvertent technical error during the filing process prevented the Financial Results from being uploaded in the required format. The company expressed regret for this error and provided an assurance that due care will be taken to ensure all future submissions are made in the prescribed format.
3. Observation on XBRL Discrepancies - Cash Flow Mismatch:
The NSE identified a specific discrepancy of ₹39.91 crores in the net cash flows from (used in) financing activities between the XBRL filing and the PDF version, for both standalone and consolidated results. The company explained that this amount represents a transfer between divisions pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement (demerger). In the PDF, this transfer was shown separately. However, in the XBRL filing, this amount was disclosed under "Cash flows from/(used in) financing activities" because no separate field was available in the XBRL taxonomy to account for such a transfer. This taxonomy limitation is the root cause of the reported discrepancy.
