Supreme Court dismissed Contempt Petition 1847/2017 and SLP 22616/2017 filed by Maharashtra Cricket Association against Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Pvt Ltd.
The Court observed that the Rs 70 crore bank guarantee filed earlier was not renewed by 12 Nov 2018, prompting recall of the 15 Dec 2017 order.
Consequently, the Special Leave Petition was disposed of and any pending applications were ordered to stand disposed by the Court.
