Shilchar Technologies received a GST demand order of ₹3,21,20,305 under Section 74 of CGST Act, 2017 from Joint Commissioner, Vadodara-I, dated 26th March 2026.
An additional penalty of ₹3,18,98,805 was imposed; the company had already paid tax of ₹1,95,851, interest ₹1,77,297, and penalty ₹50,000, appropriated in the order.
The company believes the entire demand is erroneous and plans to challenge the order before the First Appellate Authority, expecting no material financial impact.
