Order Details

1. The Court noted the State’s submission that, pursuant to an earlier exercise directed by this Court for recovery of monies due from respondent No.5, the sale of the immovable asset belonging to respondent No.5 and his wife is slated for the 19th of the current month, with a reserve price fixed at Rs.50,78,400 (Rupees Fifty Lakhs Seventy‑Eight Thousand Four Hundred).

2. The Court directed that a fresh affidavit relating to the sale of the said property be filed on behalf of the District authorities on 01.12.2026.

3. The Court observed that an amount of Rs.30,00,000 (Rupees Thirty Lakhs) deposited by the petitioner‑Insurance Company with the MACT is currently lying in an interest‑bearing account. Accordingly, the Court permitted respondents No.3 and No.4 to withdraw the said amount, together with any interest accrued thereon, in the manner indicated in the order.
