The company has received a Conditional Revocation Directions letter dated July 07, 2026, from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) under Section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. This letter was received on July 09, 2026.
The closure directions issued by CPCB on January 29, 2026, for the company's Unit-Simbhaoli Distillery (Hapur) have been conditionally revoked. The revocation was granted after due consideration of the company unit's representation and the compliance measures being undertaken.
The company affirms that it will strictly comply with all conditions stipulated by CPCB and will continue to adhere to applicable environmental and other statutory requirements. Necessary steps are being undertaken to ensure smooth resumption of operations.

Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) Status
Simbhaoli Sugars Limited is currently undergoing Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process pursuant to the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, effective from July 11, 2024.
The powers of the Board of Directors stand suspended pursuant to the initiation of CIRP. Mr. Anurag Goel (IBBI/IPA-001/IP-P-00876/2017-18/11460) was appointed as Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) who is managing assets, management and carrying the functions mentioned under the Insolvency Bankruptcy Code.
Currently, the company's CIRP process is under stay vide order dated July 24, 2024, by the Hon'ble National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi.
