The matter was called for hearing on 03‑09‑2026 before Hon’ble Justices Sanjay Kumar and Augustine George Masih.

Ms. Madhavi Divan, on behalf of SJDA, stated that SJDA will split the disputed land and lease it out piecemeal; the process is expected to take six weeks.
The Court adjourned the matter to enable SJDA to raise sufficient funds to meet the decree holder’s long‑pending dues.
Regarding SLRL Agencies Pvt. Ltd., which earlier offered to purchase leasehold rights but now refuses to abide, the Court directed that the entity may approach the Calcutta High Court for release of the amounts it has deposited.
The decree holder may also approach SJDA for release of part of the decretal dues; SJDA shall consider any such request seriously.
The case is re‑listed for hearing on 26‑10‑2026.

SJDA is directed to subdivide the land and conduct piecemeal leasing within six weeks; the proceedings are adjourned to allow fund‑raising; parties are given liberty to approach appropriate courts or SJDA for release of deposits or dues as outlined.
