Observations & Reasoning
1. The Court condoned the delay in filing the Special Leave Petitions.
2. The impugned order of the High Court does not preclude the petitioner‑homebuyers from putting up their own proposal for completion of the project.
3. The petitioner has already filed such a proposal before the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) under Section 8 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
4. The petitioner may also file the same proposal before the High Court; the High Court may consider it on a priority basis, subject to any objections raised by the contesting parties.
