Supreme Court Decides Dargah Sajjadanashin Succession

The Supreme Court dismissed an appeal and upheld the lower courts' decision declaring Syed Mohammed Adil Pasha Khadri as the rightful Sajjadanashin of Hazarath Mardane-e-Gaib Dargah.
In a separate case, the Court set aside the High Court's order, restored the trial court's decree, and remanded the matter to the High Court for a decision on the merits.
The Court clarified that Civil Courts have jurisdiction over Sajjadanashin succession disputes and the Waqf Board does not have exclusive jurisdiction.
