Supreme Court Extends Deadline for Suitor Fund Withdrawal

The New Okhia Industrial Development Authority filed a petition (Miscellaneous Application No.1125/2026 in C.A. No.4009/2023) seeking disbursal of a suitor fund amount against respondent Shashi Prabha. Respondent’s counsel, Naveen Sharma, requested additional time to file a letter/application for withdrawal of the suitor fund amount. Justice Sanjay Kumar, hearing in chambers, ordered that the required application be filed within four weeks and that the matter be listed thereafter. A copy of the order was to be communicated to the learned counsel for the appellant.
