2. The Solicitor General of India, representing the State of Uttar Pradesh, agreed that a forensic auditor with expertise in forensic audit shall be appointed as an additional member of the SIT.

3. The Court was informed that the SIT has taken charge and the investigation is ongoing.

4. The SIT is directed to submit a status report on the investigation to the Court.

5. The matter is listed for further consideration on 10.08.2026.

Final Outcome

  • A Special Investigation Team comprising senior police officers and a forensic auditor has been constituted to investigate the alleged misappropriation of trust funds, with a requirement to report its progress and a next hearing scheduled for 10 August 2026.
