Tata Chemicals Limited has issued a regulatory disclosure in response to media and news articles concerning its Kenyan subsidiary, Tata Chemicals Magadi Limited (TCML).

The disclosure states that media reports have emerged regarding statements made by the President of Kenya. The company acknowledges it received an official communication from the Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs of Kenya dated July 28, 2026.

In response to this communication, TCML submitted all required information, reports, and documentation to the Ministry on August 11, 2026. The company asserts that TCML is fully compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements.

TCML has provided a comprehensive response to the matters raised by the Ministry and now awaits the Ministry's review of its submissions and further direction.
