This is an update to a previous intimation made to the exchanges on May 26, 2026, regarding Writ Petition No. 26530 filed by the company in the High Court of Gujarat. The petition concerns the company's pre-existing rights over land at Mithapur, Gujarat, on which legacy open wastewater channels run into the sea.
The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has issued an order dated October 5, 2026. The order restrains the Government of Gujarat and other parties from taking any coercive action against the company in relation to this case. Additionally, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Government of Gujarat, calling for its response to the matter.
