Tata Communications Limited has submitted a regulatory disclosure under SEBI Regulation 30 regarding a material development in ongoing litigation involving its subsidiary, Tata Communications (Spain) S.L. (TC Spain).

The disclosure concerns a VAT-related litigation matter where the Spanish Tax Agency (STA) had previously raised a demand against TC Spain amounting to EUR 15,505,607.73 towards VAT and interest, along with an additional penalty of EUR 18,102,272.48. This related to a refund of input VAT claimed by TC Spain.

The National Court of Spain has now delivered a judgment in favor of TC Spain, annulling the resolution of the Tribunal Económico Administrativo Central (TEAC) that had upheld the VAT demand and corresponding penalty imposed by the Spanish Tax Agency.

While this judgment represents a material positive development in the litigation, the matter has not attained finality. The judgment remains subject to appellate remedies and further legal or administrative proceedings that may be available under applicable Spanish law.

The company had previously disclosed this litigation in its letter dated August 14, 2023 and through subsequent updates in Quarterly Integrated Filing (Governance) submissions.

The disclosure is made in compliance with SEBI Master Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026. The documents have been placed on the company's website at www.tatacommunications.com/investors.

The letter was signed by Zubin Adil Patel, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Tata Communications Limited, on October 21, 2026.
