Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) submitted a regulatory disclosure to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited regarding the US Government's announcement on the Permanent Labor Certification Program (PERM).

The company stated it has noted the announcement and will comply with any directive from the US Department of Labor. TCS emphasized that its workforce strategy in the United States is anchored in hiring local talent, supported by a robust campus recruitment model. The company has built a significant local workforce across 31 offices and delivery centers throughout the country.

TCS reiterated its previously announced intention to hire an additional 15,000 people in the US over the next five years to further augment its local workforce.

The company disclosed that its PERM applications were in single digits in the last two years. Based on this minimal application volume, TCS does not expect the suspension of the PERM program to impact its workforce strategy and customer engagements.

The disclosure was signed by Yashaswin Narendra Sheth, Company Secretary (ACS 15388), and was digitally dated October 9, 2026, at 07:51:07 +05:30.
