TMB Income Tax Demand Reduced to ₹2.93 Crore

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank received a rectification order reducing its income tax demand from ₹204.23 crore to ₹2.93 crore for AY 2013-14.
The original demand was issued on March 17, 2026, for disallowance of claim under Section 36(1)(viia) of Income Tax Act, 1961.
