Key Event and Reason for Delay
The company was required to submit its Q1 FY27 financial results by Friday, August 14, 2026. The delay is attributed to the initiation of the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
The application was filed by a Financial Creditor under Section 7 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, admitted the application and initiated the CIRP via an order dated 30th July 2026.
Consequently, under Section 17 of the IBC, the powers of the Board of Directors have been suspended and are now vested with the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP), Alok Kumar Murarka (IBBI/IPA-001/IP-P-01934/2019-2020/13006).
Procedural Details and Impact
The IRP had scheduled a meeting for Friday, August 14, 2026, to consider the financial results, as intimated to the exchanges on August 10, 2026, under Regulation 29 of SEBI LODR.
The commencement of CIRP caused a management transition, requiring the IRP to take over the company's books of account, records, and financial information.
The delay is due to the time required for verification and reconciliation of financial data, assessment of outstanding claims and liabilities, and coordination with various stakeholders and professionals engaged in the CIRP process.
Additional time is needed for the compilation, verification, and finalization of financial information and the completion of the requisite review process by the auditor.
Trading Window Status
In pursuance of SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 and the company's internal code, the trading window will remain closed. It will reopen only after 48 hours from the declaration of the delayed unaudited financial results.
Next Steps
The company/IRP is taking all necessary steps to finalize the financial results and submit them to the stock exchanges at the earliest.
