Key Requirements for Physical Shareholders
All holders of physical securities must furnish the following mandatory details:
- PAN linked with Aadhaar (using Form ISR-1)
- Address with PIN code
- Mobile Number
- Bank Account details
- Specimen Signature (using Form ISR-2)
Optional details include:
- Email ID (recommended for online services)
- Nomination details (using Form SH-13) or Declaration to opt out of nomination (using Form ISR-3)
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Shareholders with incomplete KYC details in their folios shall:
- Be eligible to lodge grievances or avail service requests from the RTA only after furnishing the required details
- Receive any payments (including dividends) only through electronic mode effective from April 1, 2024
Submission Methods
Physical shareholders can submit documents through any of the following three methods:
1. In Person Verification (IPV): Submit originals to authorized RTA personnel who will verify documents and retain copies with IPV stamping, date, and initials
2. Through Post: Send hard copies to RTA at:
