United India Insurance to Release 25% Award

The interlocutory application was filed under MAC Appeal No. 873 of 2022 seeking permission to withdraw 25 % of the award amount already deposited by the insurer pursuant to the court’s order dated 02 January 2023.
Counsel for the applicant (Mr. B.K. Jain, Mr. K.K. Dey) and counsel for the insurer (Mr. V.K. Barooah) appeared before Hon’ble Justice Mridul Kumar Kalita.

The insurance company did not oppose the withdrawal request.
