BIS seized products worth ₹1.9 crore, alleging non-compliance with standard marks under Section 28 of the BIS Act, 2016.
The company states the action has no material operational impact and is cooperating fully with authorities while seeking legal advice for product release.
This follows a previous BIS inspection at the company's Noida facility, for which a formal response has been submitted and a hearing is awaited.
