The liquidator is directed to: take custody of all company properties; preserve and protect assets; examine statement of affairs; recover company assets; review audit reports; sell assets; finalize list of creditors and contributories; settle claims; and pay dividends if any. The liquidator must file Form WIN 10 within 7 days, a provisional list of contributories within 21 days, and a report in Form 16 within 60 days. All legal proceedings against the company are stayed unless with Tribunal leave. An Advisory Committee will be formed as per Section 287.
