Vital Chemtech Limited's subsidiary, Vital Synthesis Limited, has received Final Consent Order from Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB). The Consolidated Consent and Authorization (CC&A) bears number AWH-157796, with reference No. GPCB/BRCH/CCA-1672/ID-91495 dated June 10, 2026.
Consent Order Details
The consent order provides authorization under:
- Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act-1974
- Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act-1981
- Authorization under Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules-2016
Validity Period: The approval is valid until March 26, 2031
Manufacturing Authorization: The consent permits operation of industrial plant to manufacture 168 chemical products across multiple categories:
Production Capacity by Product Groups:
- Group-1: Pesticides Intermediates-1 (25 products including N-Chloromethyl Chloro Carbonyl Aniline with 500 MT capacity)
- Group-2: Pesticides Intermediate-2 / Specialty Chemical (28 products including O-(2,4-Dichlorophenyl) o-Ethyl 5-Propyl Phosphoro Dithioate with 25 MT capacity)
- Group-3: Pharmaceutical Intermediates (13 products including 2-Carbethoxy-3-(2-Thienyl) Propanoic Acid with 100 MT capacity)
- Group-5: Amino Diphenyl Ether / Phenoxy Compounds (11 products including 5 Chloro-6-(2,3 Dichloro Phenoxy)-2-Methyl thio -1H Benzimidazole with 50 MT capacity)
- Group-6: Speciality Phenols / Speciality Chloro Phenol (12 products including 4-Bromo 2,5 Dichloro Phenol with 100 MT capacity)
- Group-8: Miscellaneous Specialty Chemicals (19 products including various chemical compounds)
- Group-9: Chlorinated Compounds / Carbonyl Chlorides (9 products including 4- Methyl Benzoyl Chloride with 150 MT capacity)

- Non-EC Products (5 products including Phosphorous Pentachloride with 100 MT capacity and Polyphosphoric Acid with 200 MT capacity)
Environmental Compliance Conditions
Water Act Conditions:
- Total water consumption shall not exceed 249 KLD (Fresh: 194 KLD + Recycled: 55 KLD)
- Total wastewater generation shall not exceed 164 KLD
- Industrial wastewater treatment: 144 KLD to be treated in ETP followed by MEE & ATFD
- 35 KLD treated wastewater to be reused in cooling, 90 KLD sent to CETP-Dahej
- Specific effluent quality standards prescribed for discharge into CETP-Dahej
Air Act Conditions:
- Fuel usage limits: Briquettes/Imported Coal (30 MT/Day), HSD (500 Lit/Day)
- Stack emission standards specified for Steam Boiler (5 TPH), Thermic Fluid Heater (6 lakh Kcal/hr), and DG Set (500 KVA)
- Process gas emission standards for reaction vessels with specific parameter limits
- Ambient air quality standards within premises must be maintained
Hazardous Waste Management Authorization:
The authorization covers 23 types of hazardous wastes with specific quantity limits and disposal methods:

General Compliance Requirements
- Unit must comply with all Environmental Clearance conditions
- Maintain records of steam reception and production activities
- Implement Emergency Response Procedure and conduct mock drills
- Provide online monitoring systems for effluent and emission parameters
- Maintain green belt with 1000 trees per acre density
- Submit annual environmental statements by September 30th
- Display relevant information outside factory gate as per court orders
