Vodafone Idea received a GST order under Section 74 confirming a penalty of ₹34,97,279 along with demand and interest.
The order was passed by the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Ernakulam Division, Kochi, Kerala, received on 25 March 2026.
Allegation pertains to Input Tax Credit claimed from suppliers who did not file GSTR-3B for FY 2019-20 to FY 2023-24.
The company disagrees with the order and intends to take appropriate legal action against it.
