Voltas Receives ₹20.07 Lakh GST Penalty Order

Voltas received a GST penalty order of ₹20.07 lakh from Surat tax authorities for incorrect vehicle type declaration in an E-Way Bill.
The penalty was levied under Section 129(1)(a) of Gujarat GST Act and related central laws on May 12, 2026.
Company is filing an appeal against the order and states there is no material financial or operational impact.
