The ToR is in respect of the establishment of Greenfield Steel Plant of the Company. The detailed specifications of the project include:
- Pelletization plant: 0.9 Mtpa capacity
- Alone Coal Gasifier For Pellet Plant: 1 X 18,750 M3/hr
- DRI Kilns: 4x350 Tpd (4,62,000 Tpa)
- Induction Furnaces: 5x25 T (4,12,500 Tpa) for hot billets/billets/ingots
- Rolling Mills: TMT bars/structural steel with 85% hot charging with hot billets and remaining 15% through RHF with producer gas as fuel (3,92,700 Tpa)
- Coal Gasifier for RHF: 1x4,000 Nm3/hr
- Coal Washery Unit: 12,00,000 Tpa
- Submerged Electric Arc Furnace: 2 x 9 MVA producing FeSi (14,000 TPA), FeMn (40,000 TPA), SiMn (28,000 TPA), and pig iron (48,000 TPA)
- Briquetting Unit: 200 Kg/Hr
The environmental clearance will facilitate the development and implementation of the Greenfield Steel Plant Project at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The Company shall apply for Final Environmental Clearance after completion of EIA study and public consultation. Once the final EC is granted, it shall be valid for 10 years.
