Zee Entertainment filed a commercial suit in Delhi High Court against Jiostar India for unauthorized use of its copyrighted music.
The company is seeking damages of approximately ₹287.5 crore for infringing instances identified prior to filing the lawsuit.
Zee expects to receive additional damages if further infringement is discovered during the adjudication process.
