The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has announced that media accreditation for the 57th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2026 will close on 15th October 2026. Media professionals planning to cover the festival must complete their registration through the official Press Information Bureau (PIB) accreditation portal before the deadline.

The festival is scheduled to be held in Panaji, Goa from 20th to 28th November 2026, bringing together filmmakers, cinema professionals, and film enthusiasts from India and internationally. Required documents for media accreditation include a photograph, government identity proof, PIB or State Government accreditation card (or organization ID along with an Editor's Letter), and proof of work in the relevant field.

Media professionals already registered on the portal for previous editions can use their existing credentials to log in and update documents as needed. For non-media film enthusiasts, delegate registration is available through the IFFI Goa website (https://www.iffigoa.org/delegate-registration) to access films and activities. The IFFI, established in 1952, is South Asia's oldest and largest cinema celebration, jointly hosted by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG).
