Anthropic is in talks with the Trump administration about its frontier AI model Mythos, following a Pentagon contract dispute.
The Pentagon labeled Anthropic a supply‑chain risk in March, prohibiting its use by the agency and contractors over guardrail disagreements.
Co‑founder Jack Clark emphasized national‑security concerns and said the company will discuss current and future models with the government.
Mythos was announced on April 7, described as Anthropic’s most capable model for coding and agentic tasks.
