Argus cut Ukraine 2026 wheat crop forecast to 23.5 Mt, down from 23.9 Mt estimated in December.
Forecast remains highest since 2022 invasion and above the four‑year average of 22 Mt, underscoring strong output.
Argus lowered harvested area to 5.1 Mha (from 5.2 Mha) while keeping yield at 4.6 t/ha, slightly above 2025/26 level.
Local consultancy APK‑Inform also cut its estimate to 19.9 Mt; further revisions possible in June after State Statistics Service data.
