Hurun India, in partnership with Grohe, hosted the 10th India Real Estate Leadership Conclave & Excellence Awards 2026 in Mumbai, where it honoured Mr Arun Mn, Founder and Managing Director of Casagrand, with the Self‑Made Real Estate Entrepreneur of the Year award. The ceremony marked a decade of Hurun India’s recognition of leadership in Indian real estate and featured a fireside chat in which Mr Mn discussed his entrepreneurial journey, business strategies, culture, and growth milestones.

Entrepreneurial Journey and Company Growth

Mr Arun Mn began his real‑estate career in 2003 with a modest 12‑apartment residential project in Chennai. Over the ensuing two decades, he expanded Casagrand into a multi‑market developer with more than 180 projects spanning over 88 million square feet. The portfolio includes large‑format communities such as the 41‑acre Casagrand Highcity and the 40‑acre Casagrand Suncity, and the company now operates in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Pune and Dubai.

Market Position and Project Portfolio (as of 30 June 2025)

  • Casagrand is the largest residential developer in Chennai, commanding approximately 25 % of launches and about 18 % of demand in the city’s residential segment for the period 1 January 2017 to 30 June 2025, according to a CBRE report.
  • The firm has delivered 103 completed projects, representing 21.79 million square feet of saleable area.
  • It is currently executing 57 ongoing projects covering 44.10 million square feet of saleable area.
  • Additionally, 21 forthcoming projects with an estimated saleable area of 23.81 million square feet are planned across the six markets.
