LONDON, July 14 2026 – Asia's 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, announced the sixth edition of its extended 51‑100 list for 2026. The ranking, released ahead of the live awards ceremony in Macau, spans 25 cities across Asia, showcasing both established bar capitals and emerging destinations.
Key Highlights
- The 51‑100 list introduces 11 new entries, underscoring emerging talent and shifting drinking trends in the region.
- Singapore secures seven bars on the list, including new entrants BOP (No. 52) – the highest‑positioned new entry – and Bar Bon Funk (No. 90).
- Kuala Lumpur adds four bars, with Cabinet 8 (No. 65) making its debut.
- Tokyo and Seoul each claim four spots; Tokyo’s new entry is The Bar at the Ritz‑Carlton Tokyo (No. 75), while Seoul’s Charles H rises to No. 87.
- The Enigma Mansion (No. 55) in Ho Chi Minh City records the greatest climb, jumping 38 places from its 2025 position.
- Mainland China strengthens its presence with debut venues Chimney in Hangzhou (No. 91) and Bar Long Fong in Beijing (No. 96).
- Emerging destinations such as Galle and Makati also make their first appearances on the extended list.
Organizational Details
The ranking is compiled from votes of the Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy, a gender‑balanced panel of more than 300 bartenders, bar owners, drinks journalists and cocktail experts from across the region. Faye Huggett, Director of Community for Asia's 50 Best Bars, commented that the list reflects a growing emphasis on local cultures and native ingredients, with innovative professionals pushing creative cocktail boundaries.
Awards Ceremony
The full Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 awards will be held in Macau on 28 July 2026, in partnership with destination partners Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. The ceremony will be streamed live on the 50 Best YouTube channel, beginning at 20:00 Macau time.
