Five Ayush products, including Chyawanprash and Ashwagandha, added to the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) for affordable access.
The scheme has generated total savings of ₹40,000 crore over 11 years and operates 18,646 Jan Aushadhi Kendras nationwide as of February 2026.
Stringent quality controls are enforced, including WHO-GMP certified plants and 100% pre-testing of all medicine batches for quality assurance.
