The Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD) under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), participated as an Associate Partner in the three-day national exhibition 'GatiSheel Jammu & Kashmir 2.0' held from September 28 to 30, 2026, in Jammu. The exhibition brought together government departments, institutions, and organizations to showcase initiatives and technologies contributing to the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision.

BHASHINI showcased its multilingual language technology ecosystem through an exhibition stall, demonstrating how Artificial Intelligence-based language technologies can support multilingual digital access and citizen-facing services. The team conducted live demonstrations of multilingual Language AI capabilities including speech recognition, speech synthesis, translation, transliteration, and voice-enabled interaction across applications in governance, citizen services, access to justice, and multilingual digital communication.

The exhibition witnessed good footfall and strong visitor engagement throughout the three days, with visitors interacting with the team, exploring the BHASHINI application, and participating in the selfie booth. The engagement facilitated interactions with stakeholders from diverse sectors, enabling discussions around Language AI, multilingual digital services, and potential avenues for institutional outreach and collaboration.

Dignitaries including Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Jammu & Kashmir, and Ms. Ansuya Jamwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, visited the BHASHINI stall and interacted with the team. BHASHINI received a memento in recognition of its association as an Associate Partner during the concluding day.
