The Brahma Kumaris Organisation Branch of Barabanki and the DOO office Barabanki, P&I Cell, organized a drug abuse and addiction awareness campaign at Arnav Paramedical Institute in Barabanki under Operation Jagriti on October 1, 2026. Officers and members of the Brahma Kumaris Organisation addressed students on the harmful effects of drug abuse and addiction, discussing practical ways to prevent substance abuse. The program encouraged students to stay away from drugs, spread awareness among their peers and communities, and become responsible citizens. The event emphasized the collective responsibility of youth in building a Nasha Mukt Bharat (Drug-Free India). The gathering attracted more than 500 people for this awareness program, which was part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative.
