The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), Government of India, organized a high-level dialogue on Advanced Livestock Technology and Fodder Systems (ALT and FS) under the BRICS Agriculture Working Group
The event was held virtually on 01 June 2026 from Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi
The dialogue was part of India's BRICS Presidency 2026

Focus areas: Strengthening research collaboration, promoting innovation, improving livestock productivity, promoting food security, and supporting rural livelihoods in member countries
The dialogue confirmed BRICS countries' shared commitment to leverage technology, innovation, and collaborative partnerships for sustainable development of livestock sector and strengthening global food and nutrition security
