The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd. organized the 6th Lineman Diwas in New Delhi, honoring frontline power sector workers.
Over 250 linemen and supervisors from 66 generation, transmission, and distribution companies participated in the event, which focused on safety and recognition.
Key dignitaries included the Minister of State for Power and the Power Secretary, who emphasized safety culture and the adoption of modern technology.
The event featured the release of a safety pocketbook, a safety awareness video, and awards for high-performing linemen and distribution companies.
