CFTRI's 30-Room Hostel Foundation Laid, Millet Research Gains Global Chains

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh laid the foundation for a 30-single-occupancy hostel for trainees at CFTRI, funded under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana.
CFTRI's Millet Centre of Excellence, supported by ₹20 crore, has processing capacity of 60-70 tonnes/day and supplies recipes to global food chains.
The upcoming hostel will accommodate 50 participants, supporting skill development in food processing and entrepreneurship.
