The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, observed the "Har Ghar Tiranga" Campaign on the eve of Independence Day at Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi. The event was led by Secretary Tejveer Singh along with senior officers and officials of the Department, who paid tribute to freedom fighters and saluted India's unity and progress. Singh called upon citizens to celebrate Independence Day with commitment to national unity, prosperity, and inclusive development, highlighting the significance of commemorating 150 years of the National Song "Vande Mataram." He urged everyone to hoist the National Flag at their homes under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The celebrations included group photographs and selfies at a designated selfie point, symbolizing collective pride in the Tricolour. The event was attended by Joint Secretary Chemical Division Deepankar Aron, Joint Secretary Petrochemical Division G. Venkatesh, Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor Manoj Sethi, Economic Advisor Divya Parmar, and other departmental staff. The campaign was also observed across all field offices, autonomous bodies, and institutions under the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), with Tiranga Rallies organized at various campuses.
