Coal Ministry Reports Record Production and Dispatch in FY25-26

Production from captive and commercial coal mines reached 210.46 MT, up 10.22% year-on-year, with dispatches at 204.61 MT, up 7.35%.
Twelve new blocks were operationalized, adding over 86 MT capacity, with seven commencing production in FY25-26.
This milestone marks the first time production and dispatch exceeded 200 MT, reflecting improved efficiency and logistics.
