Colombia's main index, COLCAP, closed down 1.33% on Friday, with falling stocks outnumbering advancing ones 1 to 0.
Ecopetrol rose 4.64% to 2,480 points, while Banco de Bogotá and Mineros gained 1.35% and 0.97% respectively.
Grupo Aval, Interconnection Electric, and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana fell over 1.5%, dragging down the Financial, Investment and Public Services sectors.
US coffee, cocoa prices fell while gold rose; USD/COP slipped to 3,606.23 and BRL/COP edged higher to 724.20.
