Event Overview

The National Concrete Day & Engineers’ Day Celebration 2026 is a two‑day event scheduled for 10 September and 11 September 2026. It will take place at Anantrao Pawar College of Engineering & Research (APCOER), S. No. 103, Shahu College Campus, Parvati, Pune – 411009. The celebration is jointly organised by the Pune RMC Association, the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and APCOER.

Participants

More than 3,000 participants are expected, comprising engineering students, faculty members, practising engineers, consultants and industry professionals from across Maharashtra. Invitations have been extended to engineering institutions, government departments, infrastructure agencies, professional bodies, contractors, builders, developers and technology organisations.

Programme Highlights

The technical programme features a wide array of activities designed to foster innovation and technical excellence:

  • State‑ and national‑level technical competitions, including Concrete Cube Competition, Green Concrete Mix Design Competition, CAD Drawing Competition, Ice‑Stick Bridge Competition, Technical Quiz, Innovative Ideas Competition, Project & Start‑up Competition, and others.
  • Research Paper Presentation and Poster Presentation sessions.
  • Technical seminars covering modern construction practices, sustainable infrastructure, metro rail engineering, highway engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, quality control, non‑destructive testing, structural health monitoring, construction safety, digital construction technologies and future infrastructure development.

Construction Technology Exhibition

A major attraction is the Construction Technology Exhibition, where leading industry exhibitors will showcase their latest equipment, products, solutions and technologies. Confirmed exhibitors include XCMG, THERMAX, JSW, Ammann, Putzmeister, REPOS, Sprint and several other prominent organisations from the construction, concrete, infrastructure and engineering sectors.

Objectives

The celebration aims to promote innovation, sustainability and technical excellence in concrete and construction engineering, strengthen the bridge between academia, industry and government, and provide young engineers with exposure to emerging technologies and practices shaping India’s construction and infrastructure landscape. Organisers anticipate that the event will inspire the next generation of engineers to contribute to a stronger, smarter and more sustainable India.
