Record‑Breaking Opening Round of INCRC 2026

The CTR–JK Tyre FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship (INCRC) 2026, presented by DIA Diamonds, opened its season at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, on 24–25 October 2026. The event attracted a record 137 driver/rider registrations, the highest single‑round entry in the championship’s 29‑year history.

Organised by CTR Sports in association with JK Tyre, the weekend comprised 17 races across eight distinct categories. In the Formula LGB F4 class, Arya Singh, Dhruvh Goswami and Balaprasath each secured a race win. Shatveer Shetty dominated the Formula 1300 Novice Cup with two victories. The Saloon Car segment saw Arjun Narendran and Biren Pithawalla split the ISTC wins, while Aman Nagdev (ITC) and Deepak Ravikumar (IJTC) each swept both of their races. Diljith T S claimed the Super Stock victory. In the Levitas Cup, Pratik Sonawane won the Gentleman class and Aadam Junaid the Rookie class. The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup featured Kabir Sahoch winning all three Amateur races, with Senthil Kumar, Navaneeth Kumar and Anish Shetty taking the three Pro victories.

The event was streamed live and hosted by television presenter and actor Ma Ka Pa Anand, the official host of CTR Sports. The Executive Director of CTR Sports highlighted that the 137 entries underscore the success of the "One Nation, One Championship" vision, providing a clear national title pathway for every Indian racer. The President of FMSCI praised the record entry and safe execution across eight categories, crediting organisers, officials and competitors.
